Important information
We will explore some places in the interior of the traditional village through the villager's footpath. It may be muddy, puddles and crossing wooden bridges. Prepare yourself for all possibilities that may occur.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Wamena - Trekking To The Soutern Part Of Baliem Valley (-/L/D)
Meet us at Wamena airport, we will drop you to local restaurant for having lunch or lunch will be provided in lunchboxes. By minibus drop us to Yetni river is direction to Southern Baliem Valley. From here where the trekking begins with all the porters and cook to reach Kurima in approximately 1 hour. Begin climbing the Hesegem hill on the direction of Kilise. Along the trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet the scenery is very beautiful around. The tour goes on through Dani settlements with terraced fields and wild groves of sugar cane. All the time we have a wonderful view over the river. In the early afternoon we reach the church of Kilise village where we will stay overnight surrounded by beautiful landscape. Afternoon you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the people way of life. Lunch boxes is provided and dinner will be provided by a cook and stay at local guest house. (Walk approx. 4-5 hours).
Day 02: Trekking To Wamerek (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed to Wamerek village by passing Ibiroma village. Today's walk is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths up down of the hills with about 1.800 meters of elevation. But you may also enjoying the nature's beauty, and along the trail you will meet local people with friendly smile in their traditional clothes. Lunch will be ser at the edge of Tangma river and you can clean your body while the cook preparing the food. After lunch we continue to Wamerek within 30 minutes, dinner and overnight stay at a teacher’s house or school. Tents will be settled up (Walk Approx. 5 hours)
Day 03: Trekking To Wasegalep (B/L/D)
The next morning after breakfast continue trekking to Wesagalep village for about 6 hours. You are proceeding to cross suspension hanging bridge over Baliem river, to cross this bridge you have to pay more attention because the bridge is already old. Lunch will be served at a small waterfall and you may refresh yourself in the water. The way to Wesagalep village from the river is going up the hill and you again can see the gorgeous scenery from the other side. Dinner and overnight at school or local houses of Wesagalep. (Walk Approx. 5-6 hours)
Day 04: Trekking To Wuserem (B/L/D)
Leaving Wesagalep village in the morning after breakfast, we will trek up hill in 30 minutes, and when you arrive at the top of hill, we walk through the Dani sweet potatoes gardens, after we are going to enter a small rain forest with a sponge of mosses, no one live permanently in this forest. Lunch will have at the river, and then proceed to Userem village or nearby. Dinner and stay the night at school or local houses. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)
Day 05: Trekking To Syoksimo (B/L/D
After breakfast, proceed to Syokosimo village, Today's walk is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths. The condition of the trail today was very difficult, this was because in several places landslides were found and it was very muddy when it rains. However, you don't need to worry about the conditions because our porters will also help you when crossing difficult paths. You may also enjoying the nature's beauty, and along the trail you will meet local people with friendly smile. Lunch en route Dinner and overnight stay at a teacher’s house or school. (Walk Approx. 6-7 hours)
Day 06: Mock Battle/Traditional Dances – Return To The Town (B/L/-)
After breakfast we will see how the Dani tribe carries out special events, namely how they celebrate victory through the performance of a Mock Battlel and Traditional dance among the Dani tribe. The tribe member will assemble wearing their best outfit to show their appreciation. The Tribe chief will stand on a Traditional Observation and give the order to his people to celebrate. “A Mock Battle" is one of the most interesting exhibitions you will see on traveling to Papua. Lunch boxes will be served in the villages. Walk to the terminal. From here we will use a 4WD car to return to Wamena town. Dinner will be on your account. Accommodation at Baliem Pilamo Hotel.
Note: The performance at this place must be arranged when we arrived at the village we are visiting. If it cannot be done in this village then we will negotiate with people in other villages.
Day 07: Flight Return To Jayapura - Next Destination (B/-/-)
The flight early in the morning, Aftar breakfast, transfer at 05:30 am to airport for your flight to Jayapura at schedule at 07:00am. By direct flight for Sorong, Makasar, Jakarta or Denpasar.
